Meet the Author

Denise is an Irish contemporary fiction author from Sligo, now based in Cambridge. She writes warm, romantic stories about personal transformation, female friendships, and love that grows slowly—and lasts. After a 30-year career in senior leadership in the pharmaceutical industry, she turned to fiction and have since written fourteen novels.

Through her Substack, she shares short stories and serialised fiction and has built a community of more than 100 engaged readers.

On Substack, she serialised The Resolution from January 2025 and After Him, There Is Me in 2026.

Her published novels with Author’s Solution include The Delay That Changed Everything (Author Solutions, June 2025), The Companion and Holding on to You (both 2026).
